The Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry was the pioneer food pantry in Aurora Illinois, founded to make basic life needs available to households in need. Many of the food pantry guests are children, seniors, low-income residents, and individuals with disabilities. Most of the guests are employed, but do not earn enough to make ends meet. The pantry addresses the hunger needs of individuals and their families, while assisting them to be self-sustainable through collaborations and partnerships.

The Rise Foundation provides pro-bono legal immigration assistance to low-income individuals and families and works with the legal community in assisting those most in need. The Rosie Network (TRN) is a non-profit organization founded by military spouse, Stephanie Brown. More military veterans and their spouses are turning to entrepreneurship as a solution to their employment and financial troubles, but a majority of entrepreneurs without mentorship fail within the first three years of business ownership. TRN provides mentorship, resources, and tools to educate and empower the next generation of military-connected entrepreneurs.
